THE HATCH

We are currently operating a temporary normal following government guidelines to ensure physical distancing in the pub, and therefore helping to slow/stop the spread of the Coronavirus. Please follow the rules for everyone's benefit.

 

Please follow any instructions from staff during your visit.

In summary:

• YOU MUST NOT VISIT THE PUB IF YOU HAVE ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS.

• Please make use of the hand sanitiser on arrival and throughout the duration of your visit to the pub.

• Please keep to the traversing 'lanes' and 'give way' to others.

• Please do not stand at the bar. Even if you think you've got something interesting to tell us. We will come to your table to take your order. You might have to pop your head around the corner if you're outside, though.

• You (and every member of your party) must scan the NHS Test & Trace QR code on arrival. If you do not have the NHS app, we will need your personal details.

• Please refrain from making frequent payments. It's no trouble setting up a tab if you might have more than one drink. Contactless payment is preferred.

• We have a reduced capacity inside, so it is advised to book in advance, especially at the weekend. If we run out of space inside, we will not be able to seat you inside. We have several tables at the front and on the back patio, though.

• Only one person may make use of the facilities at any time.

• You must wear a face covering when not sat at a table (i.e. when going inside to use the loo or traversing through the pub to the back patio).
